Hannah Einbinder Awarded As Us Weekly’s Most Electrifying TV Star of 2022

There have been many fascinating performances on TV in 2022, but none as riveting as Hannah Einbinder in HBO Max’s Hacks, which is why she has been awarded Us Weekly’s Most Electrifying TV Star of the Year.

“It is a great honor. “I know there are many exciting stars that adorn the cover of Us, so I’m even more thrilled to be selected,” Einbinder, 26, told Us exclusively on Saturday, September 10.

“It’s excellent for me because, like many artists and others, I sometimes deal with self-doubt.” That kind of statement of confidence is very, really good.” “I believe simply signifies, like, stand out and startling, which I was astonished by my path as an actress, my concise and fresh adventure in this arena,” she said. I believe it’s a delightful, surprising, and novel sensation.”

Einbinder began her career in standup comedy before landing the part of young writer Ava Daniels on Hacks. The comedy series debuted on the streaming platform last year and subsequently received praise for its television success.

The California native was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress Hannah Einbinder In A Comedy Series at the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards, which will show on NBC on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

“There are so many people around me within Hacks and within the writers’ room and on set members of the crew who make me feel at ease every day when I go to work, and that’s helpful because when I’m left to my own devices, I can kind of get in my head about my work,” Einbinder said of her experience working on the award-winning series.

“I think there’s a dichotomy between acting and standup. ” I’m a lot more secure with [standup] now that I’ve spent years getting up every night and building my content. And there’s something solid about writing for oneself because you know the purpose [and] how it’s intended to be done.”

Despite feeling less pressure when performing her stuff, the Emmy nominee has been “so happy” to be surrounded by an “amazing, loving and supportive” group to help boost her up. Einbinder — who costars on Hacks alongside series lead Jean Smart — even commented that she felt like a “fish out of water” during shooting season 1.

“It all sort of occurred really fast and I was just trying to like get through it and be passably decent and just, like, not be fired and replaced,” the North Hollywood actress said to Us on Saturday. “However, as we were shooting the second season, there was like a fan following and individuals who so warmly responded to welcome the show.”

“I believe there’s simply going to be a different interpretation of my experience with the show as the seasons develop,” Einbinder remarked. But, especially in the second season, I felt I was in a better position because of the beautiful critical backing and fans invested in the program. I relied heavily on it.”
