Judy Justice Season 2 Releasing Today, Click to know

The Judy Justice Season 2 pickup is not particularly surprising given that the weekday series’ first season, which premieres in November 2021, has less than a month left before being canceled.

A major coup for the developing IMDb TV was the former Judge Judy star’s switch from her longstanding CBS syndicated bench to the Amazon-owned streamer.

Judy Justice has also succeeded as all parties anticipated, which is another plus. The first season of Judy Justice was released on November 1 of last year and runs through April 15 of this year. It features many of the same characters on both parts of the camera as on Judge Judy.

Lauren Anderson and Ryan Pirozzi, co-heads of material and software at IMDb TV, said, “With Judy Justice, we saw a bold chance to strengthen our vision of a contemporary tv station, by embracing daylight hours television programming and uniquely providing IMDb TV customers original episodes every weekday.

The two also stated in a joint statement that “Judge Sheindlin has been a mainstay of daytime television for more than 25 years.” “Judge Sheindlin has taught millions of people about the legal system and making decisions in the real world through her no-nonsense approach to deciding on genuine situations.

Judge Judy Sheindlin will continue her unbroken reign as one of the most recognizable and admired figures in entertainment, and we look forward to providing another season of justice that will be worth binge-watching.

After she announced in March 2020 that the 25th season of her popular syndicated court program Judge Judy would be it’s last, Judge Judy’s streaming approach for a new courtroom series became known.

Sheindlin announced the change with her trademark bite after negotiations with CBS TV Distribution for more seasons of the wildly successful daytime drama, which paid her $47 million annually, came to a standstill.

Judy Justice Season 2 is an arbitration-based reality court series where high-stakes cases are decided by Judge Sheindlin, a retired Manhattan family court judge.

Bailiff Kevin Rasco, a former probation officer from Los Angeles, and court stenographer Whitney Kumar, a board-certified court reporter in the state of California, are present in the courtroom once again with Judge Sheindlin.

Sarah Rose, a recent New York Law School grad and Judge Sheindlin’s granddaughter, comes back for her second season as a law clerk, continuing the tradition of the television and courthouse pioneer by adding a new wave of legal interpretation.

Randy Douthit is the executive producer and director of Judy Justice, while Amy Freisleben is a co-executive producer. Executive producer Scott Koondel is also involved.

The approval of Tribunal, a judicial settlement reality court show presided over by Judges Patricia DiMango, Tanya Acker, and Judge Adam Levy, a former New York District Attorney and Judge Sheindlin’s son, was also confirmed by Amazon Freevee last spring.

Judy Justice Season 2 is releasing today November 7th, 2022 on Amazon.
