Elizabeth Olsen is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in the films Silent House, Liberal Arts, Godzilla, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America: Civil War. She has also appeared in the television series Sorry for Your Loss and the web series WandaVision. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California, to Jarnette “Janie“, a personal manager, and David “Dave“ Olsen, a real estate developer and mortgage banker.
Olsen‘s parents divorced in 1996, and her father later married McKenzie Olsen. She has two older half–sisters, Taylor and Elizabeth, and two older half–brothers, Trent and Jake, from her father‘s second marriage.
Olsen began acting at a young age, with appearances in her sisters‘ films It Takes Two (1995) and How the West Was Fun (1994). She appeared in an off–Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet in 2002.
