Anne Hathaway Fascinates In Silver Valentino Dress at the NY Film Festival

Published by

Anne Hathaway was the picture of radiance in a long, flowing gown completely covered in silver beading and shimmering pearls. She posed for photos at Lincoln Center and showed off the brilliant details of her outfit, which included pointy shoes that matched her dress exactly.

In addition to the eye-catching embellishments, the dress featured an understated straight silhouette with a muted jeweled neckline and long fitted sleeves for maximum coverage. Aside from the padded shoulder design, nothing distracted from the rich embellishment, except perhaps the perfectly tailored accessories.

The Interstellar actress Anne Hathaway matched every single element of her outfit with the stunning gown. She rocked glittering silver nails and covered her fingers with sparkling rings. Photographed outside the venue, she carried a repoussé silver handbag with ombre gold handles. Sparkling drop earrings added extra sparkle to the look.

Hathaway let go of her long, auburn locks and styled them into loose waves. Her glam was on par with her hair color and consisted of brown smokey eye makeup and pink nude lipstick, with dark eyeliner and pink blush highlighting her beautiful features.

After her stunning appearance on the red carpet, the actress and several other cast members took the stage for a panel discussion during a screening of Armageddon Time at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. The team later reunited for an after-party at Tavern On The Green, as seen in the photo below.

Written, directed, and produced by James Gray, Hathaway stars as Esther Graff, the mother of a Jewish American student (Banks Repeta) who is targeted by his racist teacher (Andrew Polk) and finds herself at odds with her parents. The other half of the Graff family is played by Succession’s Jeremy Strong.

Set in 1980s Queens, the film is said to be inspired by Gray’s childhood upbringing. Starring Jessica Chastain, the film also stars Anthony Hopkins and Jaylin Webb.

For those wondering about Hathaway’s take on the film, the actress caught up with The Hollywood Reporter at the film festival. “I’m glad we’re telling this story at this time because I think in the last few years many of us have developed a deeper, more nuanced, more sophisticated understanding of the issues surrounding injustice, different kinds of racial injustice, gender injustice, class injustice,” she told the publication. “I think we’re thinking more about that, those topics, those issues, those realities.”
