Black Beauty Actress Mackenzie Foy on her Interstellar Reshoot Story

Black Beauty is Streaming on Disney Plus, and the actress Mackenzie Foy talked about her role and the reshot story of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. Black Beauty is the new era adaption of the classic story which in books of primary schools.

Mackenzie Foy is back on Disney Plus with the modern-day adaptation of Black Beauty, the movie is now streaming on Disney Plus. The film is about the character’s gender change from make to female, But the era of the story has been changed to American West from Victorian England, The Film was almost shot in Africa but the plot is of New York and the film has been produced by Ashley Avis and Co.

As per an Interview given to the Hollywood Reporter Mackenzie Foy said: “It’s crazy because you wouldn’t think that New York and South Africa would go together, but those scenes in Central Park were actually filmed in South Africa. I have a picture of me in Central Park from a couple of years ago, and it looks exactly the same. It’s insane.”

Mackenzie is the best to know for her roles in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, The Conjuring, and The Twilight Saga. And She has shared her interesting story about the reshoot of Interstellar.

During the shoot of the Good-Bye Scene in Interstellar between Murph and her father Coop, She realized that the scenes are being reshot with Matthew McConaughey which were already shot in Canada. But the only difference this time is her father was in a spacesuit and was hanging using wires.

She told that “It’s funny because I didn’t actually get those pages of the script. So I didn’t really know what was going on,” and she added “I just walked on to set and when they gave me sides, I was like, ‘We’ve already filmed this scene.’ And they were like, ‘Yep, just trust us. Just go and do your thing.’ So the next thing I know, I’m two stories up in a half-remake of Murph’s bedroom and Matthew is in a spacesuit, flying around and yelling at me through a bookcase. I was like, ‘Whoa, this is awesome.’”

She has also told Hollywood Reporter that ” It was the first time when she trained for horse riding, she had never ride any horse in her life.”
