Fans were obsessed with Young Royals season one, notably Wilhelm’s bond with classmate Simon Eriksson. So, of course, we were delighted to learn that Young Royals would return for a second season.

Netflix confirmed Young Royals for season 2 and hinted at a 2022 release date. On July 1, Netflix revealed on its official Twitter feed that the second season will be available in November 2022.
The Cast Of Young Royals Season 2
The leaked sex tape undoubtedly complicated Wilhelm’s plans, but he hasn’t been sent to another crazy boarding school (yet). This indicates that most of the season 1 cast, including Edvin Ryding as Wilhelm, Omar Rudberg as Simon, Pernilla August as Queen Kristina of Sweden, Malte Grdinger as August, Frida Argento as Sara, and many others, may be counted on to return.

The plot of Young Royals Season 2
Season 2 will probably focus on the more major consequences of the sex tape release and how they affected Simon and Wilhelm’s lives. Although the two are now separated, we doubt they will remain so, considering they have affection for one another. However, with all the external pressures keeping them apart, it appears we will witness a will-they-won’t-they situation.
We may also expect more pyrotechnics with August and Simon’s family in the coming season, with August covertly dating his sister, Sara. Given that he is the one who released Simon’s sex tape, we suspect Simon and his mother, Felice, will be furious.
