Renowned actress Jennifer Lopez will be seen starring in Niki Caro’s action drama ‘The Mother’ in the coming year. Caro directed ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’ in 2017 and the live-action adaptation of Disney’s ‘Mulan’ in 2020.
Lopez starred as well as co-produced the film, based on the screenplay of Misha Green, Andrea Berloff, and Peter Craig.

Netflix released a trailer for the upcoming movie The Mother on September 24, 2022, which shows Lopez as a strong courageous fighting woman.
She talks about giving a younger woman protection and is seen running from people with her while fighting them on the way. It is clear from the trailer that Lopez is the titular mother (however unconventional) of the movie.

Lopez is a former assassin who comes out of hiding after coming to know that her daughter needs protection.
She has been estranged from her daughter since she left her early in life. The mother’s skill and experience as an assassin helped her to flee from and fight the dangerous assailants coming after them.
