TV Insider reported that the series became ABC’s highest-profile comedy in the second episode, and before the end of the season, Variety announced that Abbott Elementary is the 2022 best-selling comedy series to date. When Will The Abbott Elementary Season 2 Start?
According to Variety, Abbott Elementary Season 2 is expected to hit ABC on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 9 p.m. ET at the appropriate time for the 2022-2023 school year. Rumors that Abbott Elementary would return this fall began to spread after principal Ava Coleman (Janelle James) leaked an official note to Twitter in March.
“The photographers I hired to show everything I did at our beautiful school thought I was a star,” the booklet began. Principal Coleman went on to confirm the second season of the show: “With that being said, it’s a great pleasure to share that they will be back in the 2022-2023 school year! Okay, Abbott Elementary Season Two is coming to the screen. Next to you.”

Not yet! But with the release date of late September, fans can expect captions at the end of the summer hopefully.
Who Will Be In Abbott Elementary Season 2?
From now on, it looks like the Abbott Elementary genius will remain the same in Season 2. James will be leading comedians like Principal Coleman. Fans can also expect to see Brunson (who plays Janine Teagues), Chris Perfetti (who plays Jacob Hill), Tyler James Williams (who plays Gregory Eddie),
William Standford Davis (who plays Mr. Johnson), Lisa Ann Walter (who plays Melissa Schemmenti), and Sheryl Lee Ralph (playing the role of Barbara Howard). The judge is still out on the verge of whether Zack Fox will once again play his role as Tariq, Janine’s ex-boyfriend.
However, Zack Fox is optimistic about the future of his character in the show. “I don’t want to sacrifice anything, but I feel like we’ll see more Tariq in the future,” Brunson told Entertainment Weekly following the end of Season 1. ” one last time. “
