Olivia Wilde Reacts to Florence Pugh’s Comment.

Published by

Olivia Wilde is not giving up the fight against persistent rumors that she and Florence Pugh, who is starring in her newest film, had a dispute on set.

The release of Don’t Worry Darling, which was directed by Wilde, was overshadowed by tales of drama that occurred behind the scenes of the production. These claims ranged from Shia LaBeouf disputing that he was sacked from the movie to Harry Styles seeming to spit on Chris Pine (which Wilde has since denied).

Wilde has doubled down on her rejection of the enmity that has been said to exist between her and Pugh. Speaking to Elle magazine as part of their Women in Hollywood series, Wilde referred to the rumors as “untruths.”

“This movie is attempting to address huge issues, but it’s ‘Let’s just concentrate on this sideshow over here,’” the film’s director, who also appears in the movie, said. “Let’s just focus on this circus over here.”

“Because I’ve been around for a long as a well-known character… I’m in a good position to have a Teflon exterior.

Here is what Olivia Wilde Said About Florence Pugh’s Comment.

However, this also implies that a new sort of microscope will be trained on you. My attention has been drawn to the media and the way in which it sets women against one another.

Pugh’s performance as Alice Chambers in the psychological thriller garnered critical acclaim, and Olivia Wilde was quick to pour praise upon her.

“She gives such a gracious performance in each and every scene. “She elevates the quality of life for everyone around her,” Wilde remarked. “Florence made a remark that I thought was incredibly insightful when she pointed out that we didn’t sign up for a reality show.

“And I love that she put it that way because it’s as though the general public feels that if you are making something that you’re selling to the public, you have somehow accepted that your life will be torn to shreds by a pack of wolves.

And I love that she put it that way because it’s as though the general public feels that if you are making something that you’re selling to the public, you have somehow accepted that. Incorrect; that particular responsibility is not part of the job description at all. Never was.”

The fact that Pugh has not publicly commented on the alleged dispute is one of the factors that has contributed to the spread of rumors about the quarrel, given that the actress has in the past maintained an active presence on social media.

On the other hand, Pugh has only just posted to her Instagram account a picture set of the film’s cast and crew, and she wrote in the caption that she will “always be thankful” for the time spent working on the project.
