Bose Soundbar 600

The Soundbar 600 is 5.61cm in height, 10.39cm deep, and 69.44cm long, enabling it to fit under almost any TV without blocking it.

Back to the Soundbar 600, it has a decidedly retiring style from Bose, with a matte shell and a wraparound metal grille in black.

The Soundbar 600 also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Chromecast for total streaming control (including Spotify Connect and Apple’s AirPlay 2) and built-in voice control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Connectivity

The Bose has several connectivity options, including HDMI, optical, Wi-Fi, Chromecast, and Bluetooth. The soundbar, like Sonos, has inbuilt Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control.

Users may also manage their music using the Bose Music app. The soundbar also comes with Bose SimpleSync, which allows it to be paired with compatible Bose headphones or Bluetooth speakers.

Features

It is loaded with technology that works within your Bose ecosystem. Combined with Alexa, the Bose Voice4Video technology lets you turn on your TV, switch input, and tune to your favorite station with a single command.

While Bose SimpleSync allows you to link the Soundbar 600 with all other Bose smart speakers and soundbars and compatible Bose headphones or Bluetooth speakers, you can also use the Bose Music app to broaden your listening experience.

The Smart Soundbar 600 has five directional transducers: two side-firing transducers, two upward-firing transducers, and a center tweeter. These angled drivers provide a broad sound field, with acoustic reflections from the ceiling producing both vertical and horizontal imaging.

In addition, the soundbar supports Dolby Atmos spatial audio and can up-convert stereo and 5.1-channel sound to spatial audio using Bose’s TrueSpace audio processing, thanks to the drivers.

While acoustic reflections may create a large sound field, their ability to simulate sound from behind is restricted. As a result, by adding the $399 Bose Surround Speakers or $599 Bose Surround Speakers 700, the Smart Soundbar 600 can be upgraded to a complete surround system with back channels.
