Netflix and Sony consolidate their bond by creating the animated series Sonic Prime. All, if not most of us, must’ve heard about Sonic at least once in our lives- from epic games to blockbuster movies, Sonic has always been around. And now to cater to a new generation of viewers, Netflix steps in to add seasoning.

“It’s the Sonic you know and loves until an incredible twist thrusts Sonic into a new adventure featuring a reinvented cast and Sonic like you’ve never seen him before”
So Sonic is back and apparently, the fate of the multiverse rests in his blue, furry hands. No problem right? Sonic’s crusades see him battling against his longtime nemesis Dr. Eggman to not only save the universe from his evil tendencies but also Sonic’s own friends he’d neglected for so long and taken for granted. Will he succeed or will all this blow up in his face?

Sonic Prime Cast Members
Deven Christian Mack will be assuming the role of the charming blue hedgehog. Additional cast members include Brian Drummond, Shannon Chan-Kent, and Ashleigh Bell, among others who are part of the ensemble.
So far 24 episodes have been confirmed with each episode being 30 minutes long. Official merchandise has also been confirmed. We cannot wait to rock our blue Sonic hoodies this winter while tuning in!
Sega drops a new teaser for the series.
The official trailer begins with the usual Sonic chaos when he’s up to no good. But this time, he’s got certain responsibilities. According to Netflix, Sonic will be thrust into a world of adrenaline-fuelled adventures where he must venture off to save the world as we know it.
He’s fast. He’s tough. And he definitely will shatter our worlds.
With striking visuals and characters we’ve been acquainted with in the past, ‘Sonic Prime’ already looks like a service.
