Justin Timberlake Tops the Billboard Latin Chart For the First Time With Romeo Santos

“Sin Fin,” which Justin Timberlake collaborated on with Romeo Santos, debuted at the top of the Latin Airplay chart, making it the first time that Timberlake has ever topped a Billboard Latin chart (dated September 17).

Timberlake’s first appearance on the chart since “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” made him a chart-topper for the first time in 2007.

The bilingual “Sin Fin,” from Santos’ newly released Fórmula, Vol. 3 LP, which debuted at No. 1 on Tropical Albums and No. 2 on Top Latin Albums, is the pair’s first collaborative effort, and it features Timberlake singing in both English and Spanish. The album debuted No. 1 on Tropical Albums and No. 2 on Top Latin Albums, respectively.

Both artists’ Twitter accounts released a 15-second teaser of the collaboration on August 29. The preview was intended to tease the collaboration.

Santos, who has been a fan of Timberlake for a long time, reworked and translated into Spanish “Gone” by *NSYNC for Aventura’s first album, We Broke the Rules, which was released in 2002. This relationship had not before been established.

According to Luminate, the bachata song “Sin Fin” debuted at number one on the all-genre Latin Airplay chart after earning 10.1 million audience impressions in the United States in the week that ended on September 11.

The song knocks “Bailé Con Mi Ex” by Becky G off the top spot, where it had been residing for the previous week, and moves it down to position No. 11.

Santos’s song “Sin Fin” has helped him achieve his 21st No. 1 on Latin Airplay. In addition, he continues to extend his record for the most No. 1s conducted by a tropical musician.

In addition to this victory, Santos now shares an eighth place on the all-time list of most achievements among acts with Maluma. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake has achieved his first No. 1 on any Billboard Latin chart since making his debut on a Latin ranking in 2006 (with “S*xyBack” reaching a top position of No. 27 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart).

At the same time, it’s his first champion on Latin Airplay and his fourth time appearing on the list. In July of 2017, the pop singer-songwriter “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” debuted on the chart for the first time and peaked at position number 36.

The song “Sin Fin” simultaneously made its debut at No. 1 on the Tropical Airplay chart. While Santos achieves his 17th No. 1 and continues to have the fourth-most chart-toppers on Tropical Airplay (behind Marc Anthony, Victor Manuelle, and Prince Royce), Timberlake achieves a chart milestone by securing his first leader there. Santos continues to have the fourth-most chart-toppers on Tropical Airplay.

Additionally, Timberlake adds a new chapter to his Billboard chart career by scoring a champion across ten different Billboard rankings. These rankings include Adult Contemporary, Adult Pop Airplay, Adult R&B Airplay, Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Latin Airplay, Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Pop Airplay, Rap Airplay, Rhythmic Airplay, and Tropical Airplay.
