The Fitbit Luxe is one of the greatest Fitbits to date. It is compact, svelte, and polished on the inside as well as the outside. While its run tracking isn’t ideal due to the absence of integrated GPS.

It still makes a fantastic pick for gym goers thanks to its superb biometrics (especially heart rate monitoring). It works effectively to motivate you on a daily basis and help you stick to better routines.

Fitbit Luxe: Price

In April 2021, news about the Fitbit Luxe broke. Both the ordinary model with a silicone band and the special edition.

With the gold-colored Gorjana link bracelet was initially priced at $149.95, £129.99, and AU$199.95, respectively. The cost is now $109.95 / £109.99 / AU$199.95, however, prices have recently been lowered.

Design

There’s no doubting that the Luxe is one of Fitbit’s most attractive wearables to date. Even the business considers the device’s “jewelry design” as a key selling point.

The Fitbit Inspire 2, Versa 3, and Sense all use the same “Biologic Industrial Design Language,” which features ergonomic lines that are meant to fit the contours of the human body. There are additional band choices for the Luxe, which is offered in two variations: one with a silicone band and the other with a gold-toned stainless steel link bracelet by jewelry designer Gorjana.

The latter has a decidedly feminine appearance, but unlike the Garmin Lily, which has a similar jewelry-inspired appearance, the Luxe isn’t expressly designed for women, and its silicone bands are available in Lunar White, Orchid, or Black. Additional bands can be purchased separately.

Performance

The Fitbit Luxe’s feature set will suit the needs of those who only need a basic activity tracker. It maintains track of your daily step total, distance traveled, and calorie expenditure while tracking 20 different activities. We’ll discuss your activity and resting heart rates in a moment. It also keeps track of your blood pressure.

Only six workout options are available on the Luxe, and they can’t be changed from the device itself (the options are treadmill, walking, running, swimming, cycle, and general workout).

Instead, using the Fitbit app, you can tailor the options that are offered to meet your needs. To delete a workout from the app that you don’t use, swipe left on it. To add a workout that you do, press the + sign in the top right corner.

Other Features

Small writing not only hindered the smartwatch-like functions but also made it more difficult to swiftly glance at the display for metrics updates when working out. Fitbit has informed me that it intends to release an update for the Luxe that would provide a choice to raise the text size, but it stopped short of giving a precise release date.

The Fitbit Luxe is perfect for me because I try to live a basic lifestyle and believe in pushing myself to the limit. While it claims to have a battery life of up to five days, in practice, the power usually lasts for a solid seven days before running out.
