These 8 similarly clever and scary tales, ranging from macabre to mystical, gothic to grotesque or traditionally spooky, are given life by a team of authors and directors handpicked by del Toro.

While the streaming platform has yet to offer a formal synopsis for every one of them, as del Toro confirmed in the show’s teaser, every episode distinguishes itself alone from the rest, establishing its very own start, mid, and end with its own cast of people.
