Cabinet of Curiosities is an eight-part horror anthology based on short tales by Emily Carroll, Michael Shea, H.P. Lovecraft, Henry Kuttner, and Guillermo del Toro, with two original pieces by the author and filmmaker.
Netflix has published a teaser that completely exposes viewers to the universe of Cabinet of Curiosities for the first time, with del Toro serving as a guide describing how the anthology was formed and the aim that everyone involved has with it.

In accordance with the official Netflix synopsis, lauded Academy Award-winning film director and originator, executive producer, and co-showrunner Guillermo del Toro has carefully crafted a selection of 8 extraordinary and genre-defining tales intended to challenge traditional ideas of horror in Cabinet of Curiosities.
These 8 similarly clever and scary tales, ranging from macabre to mystical, gothic to grotesque or traditionally spooky, are given life by a team of authors and directors handpicked by del Toro.
While the streaming platform has yet to offer a formal synopsis for every one of them, as del Toro confirmed in the show’s teaser, every episode distinguishes itself alone from the rest, establishing its very own start, mid, and end with its own cast of people.
As a result, each episode is intended to present a distinct tale inside the anthology. Each story will contribute to a broader picture of the unseen realities beyond the known world.

Cabinet of Curiosities will release on Netflix in a unique manner. Following in the footsteps of other horror anthologies broadcast on the streaming site, the program will premiere on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, with a double episode kicking off a special four-day event.
Following the launch, two elegant and sinister all-new Cabinet of Curiosities stories will be released on a daily basis until Friday, October 28, 2022, when the complete set of 8 narratives will be accessible to Netflix users worldwide.
