The National Intelligence Service initially discovered a local drug lord in the South American setting of Narco-Saints, which is based on genuine events. A normal businessman who had hopes of getting wealthy in Suriname but was instead drawn into the drug trade is enlisted by the intelligence service to help.
The show will follow a businessman who finds up taking part in a covert government operation to seize a Korean drug boss hiding out in Suriname, risking his life in the process.
