The streaming provider announced on August 18 that now the Enola Holmes 2 would be available on Netflix on November 4, so mark your calendars immediately. While we are still awaiting to see the first trailer, we have a few photographs from the film.
Enola Holmes 2 was announced in May 2021, and we know it would reintroduce Millie Bobby Brown as well as Henry Cavill as Enola and Sherlock Holmes, accordingly, as well as screenwriter Jack Thorne and filmmaker Harry Bradbeer.
While we wait for the series season 2, let’s do some digging and find out all we can about Enola Holmes 2.

Enola Holmes 2 Release Date: When can we expect Enola Holmes 2?
As previously stated, Enola Holmes 2 will be available on Netflix globally on Friday, November 4 at 12 a.m. PT, 3 a.m. ET, and 8 a.m. UK time.
That’s a minor wait from the original film’s September debut, although at least we can start counting down the days.
The sequel began filming in October 2021, and Cavill revealed in late November that he had finished his last day on set. Enola Holmes 2 shooting was completed by Netflix in January 2022.
The Cast: Who’s coming back?
Millie Bobby Brown returns as Enola Holmes, and she tells EW that now the show is the “most crucial time in my profession so far because it’s something I produced.”
“Because my gender and age have never defined my profession, everyone on set appreciated and listened to me. It was a wonderful place to be capable of experiencing “She continued.
Henry Cavill has indeed been confirmed to reprise his role as Sherlock Holmes, however, there has been no word on Sam Claflin reprising his role as Mycroft Holmes. If they’re just keeping this a secret, it seems improbable that he’s returned.
Louis Partridge announced his comeback as Tewkesbury. Helena Bonham Carter, Adeel Akhtar, and Susan Wokoma return as Eudoria Holmes, Lestrade, and Edith, accordingly.
Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Thewlis, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney, and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss are among the newbies in the sequel.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Thewlis plays a crooked officer, while Duncan-Brewster plays a mysterious guy with links to the crime that Enola is examining.
The Plot
Netflix also revealed the official description for Enola Holmes 2 along with the first images:
“Now a private investigator like her illustrious brother, Enola Holmes embarks on her first formal case to discover a missing girl, as the flames of a sinister plot ignite a story that needs the assistance of friends – and Sherlock himself – to solve it.
That seems like the setup for the 2nd Enola Holmes Mysteries novel, on which the film series is based. Enola attempted to seek out the missing Lady Cecily Alistair in The Case of the Left-Handed Lady while dodging her brother Sherlock.
We suspect the sequel will become an identical replica, but it appears to have been inspired by the novel.
The Case of the Left-Handed Lady The sequel will continue where the previous film left off. Sherlock should be on the lookout since Enola is in town and will most likely be snatching some of his cases. But, in the sequel, will they be allies or enemies?
