Emma Watson carries Pixie Cut 2022

Emma Watson is back on the scene with a new style. The “Harry Potter” actress, who was announced as the face of Prada Beauty’s new refillable fragrance, revealed a fresh pixie cut in the upcoming campaign photo.

While reminiscent of her famous short style from 2010, her current pixie is a modernized iteration with super short micro bangs and tousled layers. In the campaign image for the perfume, which launches on August 22, Watson also posed with soft, brushed brows and a sultry, siren look.

Watson caused a stir when she first debuted a Mia Farrow and Audrey Hepburn-inspired pixie cut in 2010, shortly after the Harry Potter film franchise ended.

“I’ve wanted to do it since I was about 16, and when Harry Potter ended in June, I just needed a change,” the actor told Marie Claire at the time. “It was quite symbolic for me and it’s really liberating to be able to walk away without thinking about it.”

Watson was last seen with her sprite in 2011 over the years, she has worn her brown hair in varying lengths between lobs and longer hairstyles, adding bangs here and there.

In a particularly polarizing moment at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscars party, Watson walked the red carpet with baby bangs to her modern shag. Recently, she was spotted with a shoulder-length layered style.

Watson is making her directorial debut for Prada Beauty, with a short film for the campaign coming soon. “Prada has always transcended traditional models and archetypes of conceived beauty and is known for its femininity that challenges convention,” she said in a statement.
