Call My Agent Upcoming K-Drama on Netflix

Call My Agent is a new South Korean rom-com ready to land on your screens. Produced by Studio Dragon and Baram Pictures, the show is a remake of the French show of the same name. The latter had in total 4 seasons and a couple of other re-makes as well. This k-drama will air on the television network tvN and Netflix.

The release date for the show is November 16, 2022. With nearly 2 months left, the show is sure to receive happy and appreciative reviews. Having known the release date, let us have a look at the plot and cast of this series.

A romantic and comedy-drama, “Call My Agent” will be soon premiering on Netflix. The cast members are :

Lee Seo-jin – Aged 31 years, he is a very well-known South Korean actor. In this series, he will be seen playing the character of Matthew / Tae-oh, who is the director of Method Entertainment. In real life, he started his career in the year 1999 with the TV series House above the Waves.’

Kwak Sun-young – Born on May 11, 1983, Kwak has been in the industry for over 4 years now. She has won a couple of awards for being the best actress. Further in this show, she will be playing Chun Jae-in, a manager cum team leader with 14 years of experience.

Seo Hyun-woo – Having done multiple of films and TV shows, Seo Hyun-woo will be seen enacting the character of Kim Jung-don. His character is a manager having a very good and likable personality. In his profession in real, he is most popularly known for the role of the reporter Kim Moo-jin that he played in Flower of Evil.

Joo Hyun-young – A young actress, she has been working as a TV personality since the year 2019. Some of her first works include Best Mistake and SNL Korea Reboot. In this show, he will be seen playing So Hyun-Joo, a new manager who has been in awe of the entertainment industry since childhood.

To release in the month of November this year, “Call My Agent” will premiere on a TV channel along with a virtual platform. We have already discussed this but let us have a recap once again.

The show will be streaming on the South Korean television network tvN on every Wednesday and Thursday. It will be aired at 22:30 Korean Standard Time.

Further, the show will be also found to be available on the virtual screening platform Netflix. However, it won’t be available globally but in selected regions.

The plot of this show is about showcasing the lives of celebrity managers. Depicting their work life, how they work and stuff like that, it will be a good and interesting watch. The show is actually based on the French television show of the same name.
