American period sitcom ‘The Goldbergs’ is set to return on the streaming site with its newer season 10 the very next month. Premiered on September 24, 2013, on ABC this series is created by film producer Adam F. Goldberg whose character is also featured in the series.
When the series started, it presented the characters in their preadolescence and later they became teenagers.
Adam Goldberg’s childhood days serve as the loose basis for the plot. Goldberg used to videotape events in his childhood which often are reenacted for episodes of the series with the original videotape versions shown at the end of the episodes.
The primary cast members of the series include Wendi McLendon- Covey, Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile, Hayley Orrantia, George Segal, Jeff Garlin, AJ Michalka, and Sam Lerner.
These cast members are quite familiar faces as they have been seen previously in a number of series and films. Among this George Segal Jr, the popular actor who gained recognition in the 1960s – 1970s, died on March 23, 2021, at the age of 87.
