Jabra Elite 65t strikes an ideal balance between usability, features, and sound quality. These headphones provide a dependable connection and are a pleasure to use daily. Another important thing is their long battery life means you won’t be searching for the charging case as frequently as the competition. The Jabra Elite 65it’s design and fit aren’t perfect, but it does so much right that we can overlook its flaws.
The Jabra Elite 65t was released on March 28, 2018 as per the official website, and quickly became known as one of the best true wireless headphones on the market. Despite being slightly more expensive than the competition. The headphone’s MSRP is $169.99 / £149 / AU$249, but it can usually be found for around $130 in the US or £130 in the UK.
Jabra Elite 65t: Design
Sure, the Jabra Elite 65t won’t win any design awards, but we liked the understated and mature appearance. Even though the earbuds and charging case are entirely plastic, the headphones have a premium feel.
The Elite Active is available in black and blue, with a titanium or copper inlay emblazoned with the Jabra logo on the former. Notches on the left earbud indicate where to press to skip and repeat tracks.
The Jabra Elite 65t is a joy to use. The earbuds turn on automatically when pulled out from the case, which not all truly wireless earbuds do. The earbuds also turn off when placed back in the charging case, which is a huge benefit for people who forget to turn off electronics after they’ve finished using them.
The wireless performance is outstanding. The headphones immediately connected to our phone and rarely stuttered. You can only use one earbud at a time, but remember that the right earbud serves as the master. So, use it when taking calls with just one earbud.

Regarding battery life, the Jabra Elite 65t is rated to last 5 hours on a single charge. But we were able to go over that mark a few times while listening to music at low to medium volume. However, if 5 hours isn’t enough, the charging case can hold two more charges for 15 hours of listening. Even without a USB-C cable, charging the case is quick.
Jabra Elite 65t: Other Features
The Jabra Elite 65t is not waterproof, but it is sweatproof. The Jabra Elite 65t also has an IP55 rating, so you don’t have to worry about rain or spills ruining your investment. Don’t try swimming with them. Although I used them briefly at the gym, I’m not convinced they’ll hold up after months of corrosive sweat.
Because of Bluetooth multipoint, the Jabra Elite 65t can connect to multiple devices. This makes switching between them seamless. In addition, the earbuds can be paired with up to eight devices and be connected to two of them at the same time. So, if you’re listening to music on one gadget and receive a phone call, the earbuds will naturally switch to your phone once you answer it.
