The Resort Season 1 is the story of Noah and Emma, two teachers who are celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary by going on vacation. Their attempts to uncover the mystery of a disappearance that occurred fifteen years ago on their vacation in the Mayan Riviera put further strain on their already troubled marriage.
The series is described as “a multi-generational, coming-of-age love story masquerading as a fast-paced mystery about the disappointment of time” in Peacock’s official synopsis.

The Cast of The Resort Season 1
As Noah, a teacher who is content in his marriage, William Jackson Harper plays the lead role. The Midsommar movie and Barry Jenkins’ rendition of The Underground Railroad.
Emma, a teacher who feels that her marriage is stagnating, is portrayed by Cristin Million. Million has acted in several films, including Charlie Brooker’s Death to 2021, the time-loop drama Palm Springs, the satirical sci-fi Made for Love, and the Netflix series Black Mirror.
Murray Thompson is portrayed by Nick Offerman. Offerman’s role as Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation is his most well-known role, but you may also recognize him from the movies Fargo, Devs, The Founder, or Hotel Transylvania 2.
Along with others, they are joined by married actors Dylan and Becky Ann Baker (The Good Wife; Girls), Debby Ryan (Jessie), Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza), Luis Gerardo Méndez (The Noble Family), and Parvesh Cheena (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend).
A Peacock Television Series, Will Debut On What Date?
On July 28, 2022, The Resort airs for the first time on Peacock. The first three of the season’s eight episodes will all be available on the day of the launch.
The Resort Season 1- Cristin Milioti Collaborates Once More With Andy Siara, The Author Of “Palm Springs.”
The Resort’s video bragged about being made by the same people that made Mr. Robot and Palm Springs. While Sam Esmail produced the drama series Mr. Robot with a vigilante hacking concept, Andy Siara penned Hulu’s 2020 time-loop movie Palm Springs. Along with Andy, who also serves as the show’s writer and showrunner, Sam serves as an executive producer.
Additionally, it makes logical that Cristin Milioti appears in another one of Andy Siara’s productions given that she co-starred with Andy Samberg in Palm Springs. How could you not like her? She’s also been in Made for Love, Black Mirror, and How I Met Your Mother, among other things.
