Samantha and Jay, a married couple from New York, star in the show, which follows them as they purchase a beautiful country estate.
They plan to turn it into a bed and breakfast, but they are surprised to discover that it is haunted by a number of strange ghosts who died there.
Samantha has a near-death experience that allows her to see and hear them, complicating matters even further. The two then engage in a hilarious battle of wits with the spirits.
Release Date for Season 2 of Ghosts
‘Ghosts’ Season 1 premiered on CBS on October 7, 2021, and ended on March 3, 2022. The first season consists of 15 episodes totaling approximately 21-22 minutes in length.
Let us now learn more about the second season. The show has officially been renewed for a second season, which will premiere on January 24, 2022.
Kelly Kahl, President of CBS Entertainment, confirmed the second season after applauding the first season’s strong performance.
Ghost season 2 cast: Who’s in it?
The protagonists, Samantha and Jay, will be played by Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar in Season 2.
Returning cast members include Asher Grodman as Trevor, Richie Moriarty as Pete, and Sheila Carrasco as Susan AKA Flower.

What Could Be The Plot?
In Season 1, Samantha and Jay Arondekar of New York move into their newly inherited countryside estate and begin renovating it into a bed and breakfast.
Unbeknownst to them, the property is home to several ghosts who died on the grounds in the previous millennium.
The creepy estate tenants are opposed to the couple’s ideas and try in vain to scare them away. Samantha, on the other hand, nearly dies after falling down the stairs during one of their failed attempts.
Samantha not only survives, but she also gains the ability to see and hear ghosts, which she initially rejects.
After a few mishaps in which they try to undermine Jay and Samantha’s intentions, the spirits begin to warm up to them. Samantha posts about the ghosts on social media and the internet, which causes Jay’s sister, Bela, some trouble.
While the Arondekars plan Thorfinn’s Viking burial, Hetty tries in vain to flee the estate in Jay’s body. Samantha a Pete also comes to terms with his wife’s and best friend’s betrayal prior to his death. He eventually falls in love with Alberta, but she refuses to reciprocate his feelings, prompting him to seek the help of Cholera survivor Nancy.
