No, they will have to face a gun battle while crossing. They were at the Mexican border, and a Mexican immigrant assisted them in crossing. As a result, the family was safe and was transported to a cartel safe house in Mexico.
Only later do they realize the plan of those men who assisted them, so, they want to exchange Allie for one of their men who is imprisoned in the United States. The family manages to get away from this. However, they have now fallen into the hands of a more cunning mob boss known as “Aunt” Lucrecia.
Spies were even sent to keep an eye on the family. But, unfortunately, those agents were killed in battle, allowing the Fox family to flee again.
