OnePlus 9 Pro: Display, Battery and Specifications.

OnePlus 9 Pro is the top-of-the-line OnePlus 9 series smartphone and was the flagship of 2021. It has great features and has the most highlighted and hyped-up camera module, made by Hasselblad. Is it worth the hype?

About the device:

Design: There is design has changed by the new camera sensor. The camera module has shifted to the side than being in the center, like other OnePlus devices. The back has a gloss glass finish with metallic sides. It is not a slippery design like OnePlus 9 Pro. The right side has a power button and an alert slider. The volume controller has relocated to the left side. It has a USB-C charging port with a sim card tray and speaker grill at the bottom. There is no headphone jack on offer.

Display: The OnePlus 9 Pro is a big premium smartphone. It has a 6.7″ display and an AMOLED panel. It is a 2K display with a 120Hz dynamic Refresh Rate. The display has curved edges, and the bezels are very minimal. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Camera: The new Hasselblad camera setup on the OnePlus 9 Pro has 4 sensors. The primary camera has a 48MP resolution, with 50MP Ultra-wide, 2MP monochrome sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The camera is more on the natural capture pictures. Also, it can shoot an 8K video at 30FPS smoothness. The selfie camera has a 16MP resolution and can shoot 1080p videos at 30FPS.

Specifications: The onePlus 9 Pro has a year-old Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor based on 5nm architecture. It has an Octa-Core CPU, with 3 variants. An 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM. The RAM type is LPDDR5 and ROM is UFS 3.1, being the latest. It performs well, and the OxygenOS is tuned perfectly with the device.

Battery: OnePlus 9 Pro has great charging features. But first, it has a 4500mAh battery capacity, with 50W wireless charging optimizations. Although it comes with a 65W fast charger out of the box, 50W fast charging is more advanced. It can charge the phone in 43 minutes claimed by the company.

Connectivity Features: Almost all types of sensors have been integrated into the OnePlus 9 Pro with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. It also has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and ready NFC.

All in all, the OnePlus 9 Pro was a great flagship device in 2021, but now there are better options available in the market which has the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. They have a much better camera setup and can have leap performance.
