Ellen DeGeneres says Goodbye to her The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ellen DeGeneres was born on January 26 1958 in Metairie, Louisiana, U.S. She is a well-known American actress, stand-up comedian, Television host, book writer, and producer. 

She started her stand-up comedy career in the 1980s. She used to perform in small clubs at the beginning and by 1981 she hosted the show at Clyde’s Comedy Club in New Orleans. She was also called the funniest person in America. After 15years of her hard work as a comedian sh,e starred in the Netflix stand-up show ‘Relatable’. This was her first stand-up show since 2003 after the HBO special. 

She also worked as an actress. She started her actress career in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She appeared in the film Coneheads in 1993. In 1996 she starred in the series of films Ellen’s Energy Adventure, part of the Universe of Energy.

She also starred in a TV role called Open House. She started her career in Television in 1989. In 1992 she played the role of Nurse Nancy Maclntyre in Laurie Hill which was canceled after 4 episodes. In the first season of These Friends of Mine, her comedy career became the basis of the f situation comedy of Ellen. In 1997 when DeGeneres played a role of a lesbian on the show The Oprah Winfrey Show she earned much more popularity.  

In 2003, she launched a Television talk show called The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She also began to host a game show in 2017-2018. In 2018, she again started to host the talk show called Relatable.  

Recently it was reported that the show will be ending its run and on 26th May, the final episode of the show was aired. Ellen’s eyes were full of tears as she said goodbye to the show.
