Fitbit Versa 4 Update: Fitbit is one of the leading brands for making just smartwatches. They make premium smartwatches of all ranges. At Google I/O, Fitbit and Google have decided to collaborate on a premium Fitbit running Wear OS. Integrating the features of Fitbit with WearOS would expand the range of features. Rumors are floating around about Versa 4.
What can we expect?
Generally, Fitbit follows a two-year release cycle. Fitbit launched Versa 3 in August 2020. Now after 2 years, we can expect a new Fitbit Versa 4.
Fitbit Versa 4 would have the same design as Charge 5, Sense, Versa 3, etc. With smooth lines and edges. Fitbit calls it Biological Industrial Design Language, which works with the human body and allows the device to be ergonomic. Even the shape could be similar, a square face with rounded edges.
It is also expected that Fitbit would stick to AMOLED screen technology but there should be improvements too, for the Versa 4. Although Versa 3 has 336 X 336 pixels, there should be an improvement in Versa 4.
Fitness features:
Fitbit’s integration with WearOS would allow various other activities to integrate. Google apps could be optimized for Fitbit watches too. An onboard GPS for activity tracking such as running, biking, rides, etc. This watch would accurately measure your speed and distance without carrying a smartphone.
Few features, such as Electrodermal activity, ECG could be integrated into Versa 4. We can expect a bigger and improved battery optimization on Fitbit Versa 4 as GPS and background processes take a lot of battery.
