Pivoting Season 2  Updates: Set in Long Island, New York, “Pivoting” is a 2022 comedy television series. A Fox network series, the first episode went up on January 9 this year. With good and acceptable reviews from across the country, the 10 episodes of the series went up smoothly.

“Pivot” is not just the title but is also what happens in this series. Starring friendship, affection, and commitment to do better, it is although a comical series has tints of seriousness. After the premiering of 10 episodes, will a season 2 turn up?

Is Pivoting Season 2 Planned?

Created by Liz Astrof, season 1 of “Pivoting” had an 85% on the average audience score. (data from rotten tomatoes). A friendship-portraying comedy-drama series, the 10th and final episode was released on the 10th of March.

When the season came to an end, the spectators had been waiting for the renewal of the next season. However, the news didn’t come as expected. Fox Entertainment, the production and distributor company of this series, announced that season 2 had been canceled. This update came on 13 May 2022.

Although it came as sad news to the audience, the show had come to a proper and complete ending in the first season.

Consisting of 10 episodes, the first episode was launched on 9 January while the last episode premiered on 10 March 2022. The series is available on the Fox channel.  An intense, suspenseful, and interesting watch, the series had quite smart and funny instances. With a perfect cast, script, and dialogue display, who wouldn’t like this series?

The first episode was named If she could see us now and was an awesome start to the show. All the episodes of this series ran for approximately 23 minutes and were able to clearly deliver their message.

Overview of the Series

The comedy-drama is created by Liz Astrof and directed by Tristram Shapeero. Further, the series has been produced by Meg Schave, Aminta Goyel, Jessica Poter, and Desirée J. Cadena. Moreover, there are also three production companies involved.

The synopsis of the show is given as – “After the sudden death of their friend Coleen, three middle-aged friends, Amy, Jodie, and Sarah, decide that life is short and they must “pivot” their lives in new directions. As they each make impulsive choices in an attempt to find happiness, it strengthens their friendship.”

Let us now have a look at the cast of this series. Firstly, the name of the three friends is Amy, Sarah, and Jodie. They are played by Eliza Coupe, Maggie Q, and Ginnifer Goodwin respectively. Secondly, Tommy Dewey plays the role of Amy’s husband and Robert Baker is Jodie’s husband.

The first season is available on Fox, you can have a fun time watching if you haven’t already. Sorry to inform you but the season 2 won’t be released, but there are other comedy shows also you could try.
