Realme GT 2: Specifications, Details And Full Review.

Published by

Realme GT has been a great series. It has been the performance series that is offered by Realme. The GT device competes with various other flagship devices in this price range. The GT2 is a device that is set between the Realme GT and the Realme GT2 Pro.

What does this device offer?

Design and build: The device looks similar to Realme GT2 Pro. Realme GT2 has a few compromises in design. The back of the device is made of cardboard and rubber material. The sides of the device are made out of plastic. The bezels of this device are much thicker than the GT2 Pro.

Display & Multimedia: Realme GT2 has a 6.62″ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a max resolution of 1080p. The Refresh rate of the device keeps varying from 1-120Hz which also helps in saving battery life. As it is an AMOLED panel so media experience should be great with saturated colors.

The maximum brightness is 1300 nits. There is a stereo speaker setup in this device which isn’t as impressive as you could expect.

Processor: GT2 has been equipped with Snapdragon 888. This processor has been tuned with two specifications. Either the 8GB/12GB RAM or 128/256GB UFS 3.1 ROM. On top of this processor, phone performance is excellent. Even you can play heavy games without the device getting hot. It just gets a little warm.

The GT comes with Android 12 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0, which is almost similar to the Oxygen OS. Its UI is a lot customizable.

Battery: The GT2 devices have 5000mAh battery life and it’s excellent. The phone must serve you a day’s purpose very easily.

Camera: The Realme GT2 has a triple camera setup, with a 50MP main camera which comes with Optical Image Stabilization, along with 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. When pictures are clicked with the main camera, are excellent with a high dynamic range.

The ultra-wide camera does have poor quality and the software does smooth out the pictures. The night pictures with the main camera lens are great but with ultra-wide, it does become soft and noisy in rare cases.

The device has a 16 MP selfie camera. The pictures with the selfie camera are great and the dynamic range is also good. The phone does support 4K 30FPS video recording.

Conclusion: The Realme GT2 is a great successor to GT and has much better features. The company could have worked on the Ultra-wide camera more.
With the price of ₹34,999, it can be a great flagship deal.
