Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone Lights up the Film Festival with a beautiful Saree

Deepika Padukone has possibly become the most successful Bollywood actress till now and the feats that she has achieved are levels above any actress in the past few decades we can even say that it would be almost impossible for any other actress to reach the position she is in.

From giving superhit movies in Bollywood to working in Hollywood in xXx: Return of Xander Cage and from winning multiple awards in India to becoming the first Indian to be honored by TIME Magazine twice, she has achieved nearly everything and now she has got one more feather in her cap as she became the 9th Indian to be the Jury members at Cannes Film Festival.

Earlier Mrinal Sen, Mira Nair, Arundhati Roy, Aishwarya Roy, Nandita Das, Shekhar Kapur, Sharmila Tagore, and Vidya Balan have achieved this feat. Deepika kept her Indian fan audience updated with her Instagram posts from the event, her first day at Cannes was spent with the jury members at a dinner followed by an event briefing from the Jury President Vincent Lindon, and a discussion regarding the whole event was held during the briefing.

On the first day, Deepika was wearing a Louis Vuitton mini dress, and in the other half of the day she stunned the crowd with her beautiful and elegant Sabyasachi saree with black and gold stripes over it, her go-to hairstyle middle split made her look even more charming. It will be a treat to watch Deepika in the upcoming days at the event.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika’s last move Gehraiyaan failed impress the fans but she will be seen in Pathaan with Shahrukh next year and it is expected to be a banger.Her other ongoing projects include Fighter and Project K, she was expected to be lead role in the Hollywood remake film The Intern, but she is officially out of it.
