A new Netflix film Civil: Ben Crump based on Ben Crump will display his professional life and his struggle. This documentary will premiere on 19th June 2022.
Ben crump is an American attorney who has specialization in civil rights and catastrophic personal injury cases. He is also famously known as “Black America’s attorney general”.
Emmy Awards nominee Nadia Hallgren, Matthew Carnahan, and Ben Crump are developing the legal series inspired by Ben’s own life and work as a civil rights attorney.
Mr. Crump and Carnahan are working together as producing partners and Joel Ehninger is the executive producer.
Civil: Ben Crump Upcoming Documentary on Netflix
Carnahan created and developed the script with Hallgren. Carnahan’s statement says,
” Working with Ben Crump is a stark rebuttal of the old saying about never meeting your heroes. Three years, through a documentary and this wonderful scripted series, stokes, Ben is more my hero than ever, and his work has undoubtedly changed the culture”.
About Ben Crump
His full name is Benjamin Lloyd Crump, born on October 10, 1969. He completed his high school in Florida and he completed his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 1992 from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor in 1995. He is a life member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He started his career and fought for many cases from 2002 till now.
We also got to see him in many investigative documentaries such as In April 2017, on the American reality prime-time court show ‘You the Jury’ Crump appeared as an attorney .
Later, in December 2017, in the television documentary series‘ Who Killed Tupac?’ Crump investigated the murder of Tupac Shakur.
