American Idol is a Singing Competition TV series created by Simon Fuller. It was first aired on 11th June 2002.
The concept of the show involves finding the contestants through auditions and determining the winner of the show by getting the votes of the American Audience via phone, SMS, Internet.
The show became a Huge Success all over the world. One of the Rival TV executives said that the series is one of the most successful shows ever produced in the history of TV.
The show has been No.1 for eight consecutive years. After the huge success of all the 19 seasons, the makers are back with its new 20th season.
The 20th season of American Idol was aired on 27th February 2022. It is the fifth season to be aired on the ABC channel.
The Auditions took place virtually due to Covid-19 Pandemic. The auditions started from August till October, also on called auditions were also taken, after the selections of a few contestants they have to audition for the final time Infront of the Show Judges.

The Judges of this reality show are Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. The show is hosted by Ryan Seacrest. This season was aired on 27th February and till now there have been a total of 17 Episodes.

Bobby Bones will not be making his return in the new season due to conflicts, he has been working on the show for the past 4 years. He was a Guest mentor and eventually became a full-time mentor to the contestants. Bebe Rexha would be coming to replace his position on the show.
The winner of American Idol 2021 was Chayce Beckham who was a 24-year-old heavy Machinery Operator. And we are excited to see what is going to happen in the 20th season and who is going to win the show.
