The Takedown (French: Loin du périph) is an upcoming French motion comedy film directed with the aid of Louis Leterrier and written by Stéphane Kazandjian. It is a sequel to the 2012 movie on the other side of the Tracks, and stars Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte (reprising their roles from the sooner film), with Izïa Higelin. The movie is scheduled to be launched on 6th May 2022 on Netflix.

About the movie The Takedown
Two Police Officials Ousmane Diakite and Francois Monge are very different from each other both in their Personal as well as Professional life.
They are forced to work together again on a murder case in the French town but both of them have no idea what’s coming out. They will be stuck in a much more dangerous Criminal Conspiracy.
They have been appointed to investigate a simple drug case but it turns out to be something bigger than that, the movie is made in a light-hearted comedy way, so the viewers can enjoy the drug mystery with some fun.

What to expect
The movie is totally action-packed and we can see 2 totally different cops with different principles working together in a drug case, as seen in the trailer can see an intense car chase scene and one of the cars flips over the mountain edge. Apart from action, it has also a slight touch of humor which makes it more interesting to watch.
