The Flash Season 8 Must Watch Series Like Season 8

Published by

The Flash returned to The CW for part 2 of the eighth season and is presently available on Netflix. The Flash, inspired by the DC comics, is one of The CW’s most popular and long-running programs, having premiered in 2014.

Many of the earlier Arrowverse episodes have ended, with The CW moving on to a new age of characters like Naomi, Superman, and Batwoman, none of whom will be available on Netflix.

On November 16, 2021, The CW broadcasted the first episode of the season. The CW released its mid-season two weeks well before its debut, on November 5, 2021, revealing that after “Armageddon,” The Flash will broadcast on Wednesdays beginning from March 9, 2022.

The CW Network has yet to reveal its plans for the TV show The Flash season 9. However, based on historical schedules, The Flash’s 9th season might debut on October 26, 2022.

For all those who loved and enjoyed Flash season 8, the wait may be longer than anticipated, but do not worry since we’ve made a list of 5 series to binge on as you wait for season 9 to approach.

Must Watch Series Like The Flash Season 8

Arrow (8 Seasons)

Arrow is needed to explore the Arrowverse. This is how things operate. Arrow is the storyline of Oliver Queen, a millionaire womanizer who was stranded on an island and taught the skills that would convert himself into the world’s finest archer.

5 years later, he returned to his hometown to employ his newly learned talents in a vigilante quest to cleanse his hometown of the corrupt and decaying individuals that have plagued it.

Arrow’s eight-season run changed the way viewers saw superhero series and generated The CW’s presently massive DC show collection. Even before becoming its own program, The Flash made a cameo in Arrow’s season 2.

According to the creators, Arrow won’t be back for a season 9.

Marvel’s Agents of Shield (7 Seasons)

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD had originally conceived as a science fiction spy series set in the same universe as the MCU superheroes. Eventually came the superpowers and accompanying hijinks. However, even by the time the series came to a close, it had grown into its own universe, complete with brilliant plots and appealing characters.

The Flash has some of the greatest science fiction in the Arrowverse, so if you enjoy that segment of the show, Agents of SHIELD will be right up your alley. It’s a gorgeous watch with a great cast that will keep you captivated for hours. All seven seasons of Agents of SHIELD are presently accessible on Disney+.

Misfits (5 Seasons)

This British superhero dramedy is an underappreciated program that may surprise you. Misfits tell the story of a group of adolescent miscreants who develop supernatural abilities as a result of a rare electrical storm. Yes, the genesis tale is similar to The Flash, but things swiftly spiral out of control. Misfits are both hilarious and dark, with some fantastic performances.

If you allow the characters a chance, they will win a place in your heart, and while it has flaws, Misfits is an interesting perspective on the superhero genre which you should see.

Season 5 revolved around Rudy and his disbelief that he actually has emotions for jess, and his alter-ego joins a strange new help group, a safe refuge for individuals battling with their abilities. Since season 5 wrapped up the main story arc there won’t be a season 6 for Misfits.

What If…? (1 Season)

The notion of the multiverse was among the concepts that The Flash brought to the Arrowverse. It shares this trait with What If…?, a series that did the same for the Marvel Universe.

Every episode of the cartoon series chronicles a branch of the multiverse, exploring what would happen if one minor modification in the narratives we know had tremendous ramifications for the universe at large. It’s a fascinating series with intriguing stories that’s a must-see for any superhero enthusiast.

What If…? is presently streaming on Disney+, with a second season set to premiere in 2022.

Smallville

The story follows a young Clark Kent as he learns to control his extraterrestrial abilities. The biggest draw is to see him combine his adolescent life with his skills.

Despite airing for nearly ten years, Smallville is one of the few TV programs that just never lose track of the core narrative. There is no way to skip everything, however, there is a lot to see. It’s difficult to quit once you’ve started.

Season 10 continued the relationship that began involving Clark Kent and Lois Lane in season 9, as well as Clark’s tribulations and the formation of his heroic persona “Superman.”
There isn’t any information about a new season.
