Oscar Isaac Says MCU is Stepping out of NYC.

Published by

Oscar Isaac told the media that the MCU is stepping out of New York City. One of the more remarkable perspectives of the newly coming Moon Knight series which stars Oscar Isaac.

Then we learn that this was done intentionally on the part of Isaac, as one of the show’s plot devices is that Isaac’s character can take bodies of different personalities.

Later it seemed that this was not the only British view of the series.  In an interview about the movie, Isaac shared with fans about there being more of the MCU across the side.

He mostly questioned “I do not know… well, it was set in the UK and when I asked why it was more like, ‘We just have too many characters in New York…’ So, it looks like, let’s just change it up… I mean, I love British humor, like The Office and Stath Lets Flats… There’s just so much of that humor that I find so funny, and I thought, ‘There is an opportunity here to maybe make something… what if we make him British?’”

All this said by him opened up some possibilities for both him and the director of the movie, Mohamed Diab. Isaac added saying

That he was like, ‘What if Peter Sellers was approached for a Marvel movie or series? What would he actually do?’ So he started thinking about that, and that particular thought led him to Karl Pilkington.

And he was not much into the accent, but just for his sarcasm where he does not know that he is being funny.

Seeing how much work and effort went into bringing the character to the screen in just the right way, one would expect that the Moon Knight is here to stay.

If it’s up to the director, Diab, he will likely create the character and leadership for a whole decade.

In a conversation with SFX, he opened up by saying that people are meant to resonate with the plot of the show, which will automatically build the superhero’s profile in the MCU.
