The new episodes of The Wilds continue to follow the plight of a group of teenage girls trapped on a desert island and they did not stop there by accident — they were privately collected in serious social research.

Although Season 1of the Wilds is about the girls trapped on the island, Season 2 changes gender and is also referred to as the boys trapped at the end of Season 1.
