Xiaomi 12 Ultra Updates: China’s leading tipster on Weibo, the digital chat channel, has announced that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphone will be offering snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. Considering that the integrated version of Qualcomm’s flagship SoCs is often announced on H2, we shouldn’t expect Mi 12 Ultra before the end of the first quarter of 2022.
The device with the corresponding model number appeared on the radar with an unspecified Qualcomm SM8475 SoC. And since the current non-integrated SD8 Gen 1 chip has model number SM8450, it is safe to assume that it is an absolute variation and integration.
Rumor has it that future models from Qualcomm Plus will be built with the TSMC 4nm processor instead of Samsung, which will be based on the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
