Eminem Again Proved His View Through The Super Bowl Halftime

Eminem Performed at Super Bowl Halftime. The Super Bowl time is on in America. It’s also a ritual of featuring the greatest musicians or singers in halftime. This year Eminem took over the part along with other fellow musicians.

Such as Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent as a surprise performer. But Eminem sure does know how to claim the spotlight.  As he took a knee during his performance on 13 February, in the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

This Super Bowl, 2022 is the first time that Hip Hop occupied the spot and center of attraction. Hip Hop or the rap culture ultimately getting its deserved spotlight after over 20 years, of Hip Hop influenced American pop culture.

As CNN reported – Amid this whole situation Eminem’s kneeling sure claimed the spotlight. Kneeling gestures became the topic of controversy when for the first time former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick did during the national anthem. And used it as an act to oppose racial discrimination and police brutality against black people.

Kaepernick has been heavily criticized for beginning this act in the 2016 preseason game. After that many athletes began to do this during the national anthem to show agreement with Kaepernick and his message.

Now Eminem did it again even when the NFL forbid him to do so. The fans know that he always supported Kaepernick and his message.

Like the other Super Bowl Halftime Shows, this show was also thrashing. As Dr. Dre started the show. And needless to say, the next 12 minutes were amazing and iconic hits were played. Including “The Next Episode”, a collaboration with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, wearing sweat suit themed with a bandanna. Followed by “California Love”.

Eminem’s stage-shaking performance with his 2002 hit “Love Yourself”. Then Lamar’s “Alright” and a couple of songs from Mary J. Blige. Then 50 Cent’s iconic arrival with hanging upside down in the set.

He was an unannounced guest who sang one of the breakouts hit songs “In Da Club”. With these exemplary artists on the stage, it’s needless to say the show went better than ever.
