Killing Eve Season 4 Must Watch Series Before Season 4

Critically acclaimed BBC spy thriller ‘Killing Eve’ is bringing its fourth season on February 27, 2022. The series centers around Eve Polastri who is a British intelligence investigator and her mission of capturing psychopath killer Villanelle.

Eve is mostly interested in female assassins. She loves to delve into their psychology of them. In her mission of capturing Villanelle, she grows an obsession with the criminal. And when the two women cross paths with each other, both become interested in each other rendering their initial mission secondary.

Sandra Oh plays the role of Eve and Jodie Comer portrays the character of Villanelle. The series is based on Luke Jennings’ novel ‘Villanelle’. The series first premiered in 2020 and received a number of awards including the British Academy Television Award for Best Drama Series and a Peabody Award.

He is obsessive and violent regarding his work. In the first season, we find Luther working in a Serious Crime Unit wherein in the second season he works in the Serious and Serial Crime Unit.

The problem with Luther is he always gets consumed by the darkness that he is investigating which affects his professional and personal life very much. We have to stream the series to know how much this trait of Luther costs the genius detective.

Idris Elba is starring as the DCI John Luther, the protagonist of the series. The series premiered on BBC One on May 4, 2010, and ran till January 4, 2019. The series is critically acclaimed and received a Critics’ Choice Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award along with receiving eleven Primetime Emmy nominations.

This American police procedural anthology series opens its first season with the case of a woman stabbing a man to death. Detective Harry Ambrose who is the center of the series investigates the case and in order to do that he digs into the woman’s past.

In the second season, Ambrose becomes involved with a case of a young boy confessing that he has poisoned a couple. In the third season, a fatal car accident is investigated by Ambrose. In the fourth cum final season Ambrose retires but gets involved with the tragic case of a daughter of a prominent family.

Bill Pullman plays the role of Harry Ambrose. The series ran on USA Network from August 2, 2017, to December 1, 2021. Jessica Biel becomes nominated for acting in this series in two Primetime Emmy Awards.

Sharp Objects-

Another psychological thriller ‘Sharp Objects is based on the novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn. This novel is the author’s debut novel. The series revolves around Camille Preaker who is a crime reporter. She had been in a psychiatric hospital for years to cure her self-harming habit and alcoholism.

The series opens with her coming back to her home town where she investigates the murders of two young girls. But her childhood home along with her overbearing mother’s critical eyes once again makes her stand before her own personal demons.

Amy Adams play the role of Camille Preaker. The series ran on HBO from July 8 to August 26 of 2018. Patricia Clarkson who plays the tole of Camille’s mother won Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress- Series, Miniseries, or Television Film with Amy Adams receiving the Golden Globe nomination of Best Actress. The series also received eight Primetime Emmy Awards nominations.

Orphan Black-

‘Orphan Black’ is a Canadian sci-fi thriller that centers on Sarah Manning. Sarah is a British con artist. She witnesses the suicide of a woman named Beth Childs whom she thinks is her doppelganger.

After Beth’s death, Sarah takes her identity and occupation. But eventually, Sarah gets to discover that she is actually a clone and her many sister clones are spread all over North America and Europe. And most importantly they all are part of an illegal cloning experiment.

Tatiana Maslany acts as Sarah Manning. The series ran from March 30, 2013, to August 12, 2017. ‘Orphan Black’ is a critically acclaimed series and received various accolades. Tatiana Maslany received one Primetime Emmy and two Critics’ Choice Awards for acting in the series. ‘Orphan Black‘ also received Peabody Award in 2013.
