Katherine Schwarzenegger, who is expecting her second child with Chris Pratt, posted pictures of her 17-month-old daughter Lyla enjoying the sun. To see the adorable photographs, keep reading.
The photographs were taken on a family trip through the woods and shared on Instagram on Jan. 26. On the promenade, Katherine took care to capture her loved ones as well as the stunning scenery, including her husband Chris Pratt and her mother Maria Shriver holding Lyla’s hand.
While the grownups nestled up in their coats, Lyla stayed warm in a baby campshire one-piece by The North Face with beautiful bear ears on the top. Katherine captioned the photo, “My little snuggling [bear] enjoying some huge open spaces.”
Lyla finished off her cute cub outfit with a pair of glittering pink sneakers. When it was time for a change, the 17-month-old was seen sporting a floral jacket, rose-colored tights, and tan winter boots.
Katherine, 32, and Chris, 42, welcomed Lyla into the world in August 2020. “Motherhood has been such a fantastic experience for me, and I’ve adored every minute of it and it has fulfilled all of my aspirations,” she told Today’s Hoda Kotb in March. “As a result, I’m just ecstatically happy.”
While the BDA Baby host and the actor have shared a few images of their kid, they have kept her face hidden to protect her privacy.
“Obviously, I didn’t grow up with social media,” Katherine said in the interview, “so it’s a little different in that sense just because I feel like we share so much today.” Arnold Schwarzenegger is Katherine Schwarzenegger’s father. “However, I believe that one of my parents’ greatest gifts to me and my brothers was the gift of solitude and a completely normal, or as normal as possible, upbringing.”
“So, we had a really regular and nice upbringing,” she explained, “and we were allowed to kind of be our own people and have our own identity, and we could choose to step into whatever form of being public we were comfortable with when we felt comfortable.” “And I think that was such a wonderful gift to have given us kids,” she says. “It’s something that my husband and I want to be able to provide for our children, to be able to give them that privacy and not necessarily share as much of them on social media,” she says.
Chris and his ex-wife, actress Anna Faris, have a nine-year-old kid named Jack, whom they share. In no time, he’ll be a father of three. In December, Chris and Katherine were said to be expecting another child. Chris also appreciates witnessing each of his children bloom into their own identities, as he stated on E! News’ Daily Pop in June.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star told Lilliana Vazquez, “The greatest gift I’ve seen so far, the second child truly shows you the uniqueness of the first child.” “”Oh, that’s how infants are,” you think to yourself when you only have one child. Then a second child arrives, and they may do things differently straight away, and you think to yourself, ‘Oh wow, OK, so that was truly unique what my first child did,’ and you think to yourself, ‘Oh wow, OK, so that was truly unique what my first child did.’ Each child is unique and individual, and they are not mass-produced.”
