This is the most current Egyptian Original on Netflix, following Paranormal and Abla Fahita: Drama Queen.

“Finding Ola,” a social drama that will premiere exclusively on Netflix on February 3, follows Egyptian pharmacist Ola as she navigates her life after divorce twelve years later.

The six-episode series, directed by Hadi El Bagoury, starring Sawsan Badr, Khaled El Nabawy, Hany Adel, Nada Moussa, Mahmoud Ellisy, Omar Sherif, Yasmina El Abd, and Aicel Ramzi. Sabry is also the show’s executive producer, collaborating with Salam Production’s Partner Pro and executive producer Amin El-Masri.

“Ola Abdel-life Sabour’s life has been completely turned inside out.” Sabry stated on her Instagram account, “Let’s start afresh with Ola in #FindingOla, coming exclusively on Netflix on February 3rd.”

Ola, Sabry’s character, became popular among Egyptian women twelve years ago when she depicted their struggle with society’s pressure to marry by the age of thirty. The series was a Ramadan hit because it highlighted not just the hunt for the ideal spouse, but also the importance of family and balancing expectations.

The Netflix series’ heroine Ola grapes faces with yet another dilemma that many Arab women face: balancing motherhood, a career, and life after divorce.
