The TV series has been adapted by Netflix Japan for the movie of the same name and the plot of the series will be based on the same plot of the film, The Movie was named “The News Reporter” or “The Journalist” in Japanese though the movie as never dubbed or made in English or any other language so we can name it as “The Journalist“. The movie had the Japanese actor Matsuzaka Taoli and Shen Nanjing, who are really very famous names in Japanese Cinema, the movie had collected very good revenue on Japanese Box-Office and had received numerous awards along with the Japan Academy Award.

As in the film the Netflix Series, The Journalist will also revolve around the Journalists who are exposing the dark side of politics and social evils in Japan.
