Insecure Season 5 Updates: Insecure is a comedy-drama series first released in the year of 2016. The Emmy-winning HBO series is all set to kick-off for its final season this Sunday, the 24th of October, 2021 but there is more of the story to be told.
For Issa (Issa Rae) it’s all about the progression of who feels stuck amidst her career and love life subsequently finding out about Lawrence played by Jay Ellis who is expecting a baby with his ex, Condola played by Christina Elmore.
There is also so much story from the tension amongst Issa and her bestie Molly played by Yvonne Orji and both of how them give importance to what is more important in their lives.
Speaking to the ET, Issa Rae said that season five is all set to start just immediately after the last episode of the fourth season wherein Issa would really focus on trying to figure many things out in regards to her personal and professional life and the same goes for Condola, the bestie of Issa who would also try to figure about future she beholds.
The showrunner of the season, Prentice Penny encapsulates how the characters of this season are trying to define happiness and what it means to them in their own respected ways.
Prentice Penny went to explain as well how happiness differs and is a choice more like a feeling and we do actually decide how we want and how we want.
With 10 new and fresh episodes on the wait, one is keen to know as to how would the characters be wrapped up.
Orji quipping up clearly claimed that the audience can never be satisfied and this show is a journey of growth. Rae too went on to explain how if Issa didn’t evolve from the first season to the last its a failure and she added on to say how the ending is important and they are grateful that it’s happening as per some terms benchmarked by the characters as it is their story of growth and maturity.
The final and the fifth season of this comedy-drama, “Insecure,” would premier on the 24th of October, 2021 at 10:00 pm ET/PT on HBO.
