The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Updates: The reviews for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD are generally positive though it still has the same divisive elements as the original.

Nintendo is celebrating Zelda’s 35th Anniversary with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.

The original version of the game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was riddled with a lot of flaws that made players frustrated. Two elements were criticized the most.

First, the motion controls of the game required recalibration from the Wii Motion Plus and precision to hit enemies. Second, Link’s companion Fi is notorious for interrupting the game constantly. Apart from these major flaws, the game was also criticized for its pace.

The HD version has improved some of the more controversial elements of the game. The game now has quality-of-life features.

The game now gives the players an option to ignore Fi. The number of item descriptions has been reduced and tilt controls have been added. The game’s motion controls also work better now compared to the Wii Motion Plus.
