The Starling: Trailer Is Out For New Netflix Drama

The Starling Updates: The release date of The Starling announced is just three weeks away as the star actor Melissa McCarthy plays a role that brings out emotions of grief and healing.

The Starling will be on everyone’s tongue as Melissa McCarthy’s new Netflix movie is looking to make us laugh and cry when it will be premiering next month.

Netflix has been hitting its success by giving binge-watchable content which ranges from friendship-based drama Firefly Lane which left the fans desperate to understand why there was a full stop in the conversation of Tully and Kate to Behind Her Eyes with a confusing but gripped ending.

And now Netflix is looking for another movie to set in September. The movie is packed with both humor and emotion as star Melissa McCarthy plays a role full of grief and love. As the premiere date is ahead not more than a month, the fans are eager to see Melissa’s wonderful role in this movie.

The Starling cast comprises of Melissa McCarthy known for his best roles in Bridesmaids and Spy will be acting opposite Chris O’Dowd as husband and wife the role of characters Lily and Jack Maynard.

The trailer of the movie starts with starting of the fireworks lighting the sky and the couple Jack and Lily Maynard watch this from their garden. Lily’s baby bump can be seen as Jack lovingly places his hand on his wife.

As the scene changes the couples are shown elderly and Jack is shown undergoing therapy where Lily meets him. The viewers are shown a heartbreaking moment before this scene where Lily is shown lying in an empty but decorated room.

Her eyes were filled with tears as she stares up at the baby mobile and her voiceover states that “I’m fine.” Her friends and colleagues become cautious about his behavior, Lily is being referred to psychologist-turned-vet Larry.

We see how she struggled when she digs her garden and a tiny bird frustrating her and results in a war which is cut by a scene Larry and Lily discussing her grieving problem. The psychologist reveals the reason that it is not Katie, her beloved lost daughter but it is about Jack and their relationship.
