Space Force Season 2 Updates: Season 1 of Space Force arrived at the end of May 2020 and fans are eagerly waiting for its next season to hit on the screens. It has been confirmed that it will be coming back for its 2nd season according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Many fans of this show are eager to know if all their favorite characters will be returning on-screen. Especially the character of Fred Willard who played Mark’s father Fred has passed away.
The show will be created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels, the co-showrunner and executive producer with Howard Klein. Norm Hiscock who is the producer of the American sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine also joins Season 2 as an executive producer and also co-showrunner along with Greg.
The fans favorite Steve Carell has to come back playing the role of Mark Laird and Greg Daniels commented how much he admires Steve and his character during an interview with Variety.
We will also see other characters such as Maggie played by Lisa Kudrow, Dr. Mallory played by John Malkovich, Erin played by Diana Silvers, Angela played by Tawny Schwartz, Chan played by Jimmy O Yang, Mark’s assistant Brad played by Don Lake, Bobby by Alex Sparrow, General Kick Grabaston played by Noah Emmerich, Kelly played by Jessica St Clair who plays the role of engineer and goes on a date with Mark and Duncan the guard.
The main question everyone wants to get answers is the possible story leads that appeared in Season 1 and maybe the narrative of Season 2. At the end of Season 1, General Mark Naird and his crew were in quite a difficult situation, and to make this situation more worse Nair was been replaced by Grabaston who takes over further proceedings.
But Nair didn’t stay for too long as he had to go to rescue his daughter Erin in the helicopter. His wife Maggie also escaped from the prison and joined him with her new girlfriend.
After Angela and her team made the Chinese moon base inoperable, they found out that the same has happened to them also. Therefore Season 2 will mostly outcome what happens in the base and pass all the hurdles that they face in the finale of Season 1.
