Outlander Season 6 has been renewed! Ever since the hit Season five of Outlander had been released with a huge success and an eventful last episode, all the fans have been waiting for the moment to get a tentative date for the premiere of season 6. About the Show
The historical series is based on the ongoing novel series, which has the same name. The novel is Diana Gabaldon’s creation. The show had initiated on Starz in August 2014, developed by Ronald D. Moore. The show has recently been renewed for the sixth season which would consist of 8 episodes, based on ‘A breath of snow and Ashes’.
It was reported that there were expected to be more episodes, but due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in the United States, they’ve been reduced. There’s supposedly renewal of a season seven already, having 16 episodes in total, based on ‘An Echo in the Bone’.

In the storyline, Claire finds herself transported back in past and meets Jamie. It’s a journey of love and it’s a part romance-novel fantasy, with war and time-travel themes throughout the series. Since it is set in two completely different time periods, it gives the gist of 1743 Scotland along with 1945 Scotland. It’s interesting and admirable that it could sit in any genre comfortably if taken one scenario at a time.
The fifth season had ended in May 2020, and had garnered the title of “generally favorable reviews”. We had seen Jamie struggling with taking care of his godfather and completing his duties to the British as well as the revolutionary war threw in the mix. It’s heart-wrenching how before he could warn Murtagh, he is shot dead.
