Outlander Season 6 Recap

In the storyline, Claire finds herself transported back in past and meets Jamie. It’s a journey of love and it’s a part romance-novel fantasy, with war and time-travel themes throughout the series. Since it is set in two completely different time periods, it gives the gist of 1743 Scotland along with 1945 Scotland. It’s interesting and admirable that it could sit in any genre comfortably if taken one scenario at a time.

The fifth season had ended in May 2020, and had garnered the title of “generally favorable reviews”. We had seen Jamie struggling with taking care of his godfather and completing his duties to the British as well as the revolutionary war threw in the mix. It’s heart-wrenching how before he could warn Murtagh, he is shot dead.

Bree and Roger decide that staying in past is the only available option for them. There’re sensitive issues that happen with Claire, consisting of abduction and sexual abuse, precisely by Lionel Brown and his group of men.

Afterward, she gets rescued by Jamie and others. The showrunner, Roberts stated in an interview, “When you see the first episode, the title will speak for itself. Each character will be dealing with something from their past and it will help us tell stories going forward. There was a different title on my very first drop.” It seems that it’s going to be big rollercoaster ride in the future, so prepare yourself for literally anything. All the previous seasons are available to watch on Netflix if you’d like to catch up again while we wait!
