In season 2, we’ll undoubtedly discover more about Baba Voss’ past. We discovered in the first season that Baba had a tumultuous history with slavers, though we didn’t get many details.

As he prepares to meet his brother, Baba Voss states in the season 2 teaser, “I vowed I would never come here.” He is definitely remorseful. “I’m familiar with this foe. “I was this adversary,” he claims.

Based on the teaser, we can expect lots more battle scenes based on the legendary Japanese film and television character Zatoichi, a traveling swordsman who is virtually invincible. Season 1’s combat sequences with Baba Voss were breathtaking.
