Special Agent Alden Park (Gary Cole) is filling in for the star, who appears to be easing out of the show. Will Park, on the other hand, take over Gibbs’ role in the upcoming season?
The cast is changing dramatically, with Gibbs only appearing in a few episodes and Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) departing at the season 18 finale. With the new season approaching, many are wondering if Cole’s character would take the place of Gibbs in season 19 and beyond.
