According to a leak, Sly Cooper 5 is in production

Sly Cooper 5 Game Updates: A video game industry source has leaked that a Sly Cooper 5 is in production, and another game leaker has backed up their allegations. Sucker Punch Productions created the first three cartoon platformers, while Sanzaru Games created the fourth game in the series, which was published in 2013.
Despite being among of Sucker Punch’s earliest games, the Sly Cooper games became classic platformer titles after their release between 2002 and 2005. The series was a success, but owing to the studio’s shift in attention to the new Infamous series, it went dormant after the studio’s final Sly Cooper release.
Sucker Punch entrusted the franchise’s future to Sanzaru Games, who published a high-definition remastered compilation of the original trilogy, followed by Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the fourth chapter.

Sly Cooper, on the other hand, might be making a comeback. According to a recent video by YouTuber Guy Eh from Canada, many potential leaks indicate that a Sly Cooper 5 is in the works. Reddit user and industry insider Nick Baker claimed to have heard a fifth game is in the works – by “someone,” apparently not Sucker Punch – in reaction to a since-deleted purported leak on 4chan.
This isn’t the first time that rumors of a Sly Cooper comeback have surfaced. In 2017, a 52-episode Sly Cooper television series was announced, with the first episodes expected to air in 2019. The program, however, appears to have been canceled after its producers, Technicolor and PGS Entertainment, discreetly withdrew Sly Cooper from their list of forthcoming projects.
While the existence of Sly Cooper 5 is now only a rumor, there is reason to assume that formal plans for the game will be revealed in the near future. While expectations for a Sly Cooper television series were dashed, the franchise’s return to the game’s native medium might prove to be a more fruitful decision.
